Step 1: Submit I-20 forms and apply for student visa.

The I-20 is an official document required for all international students in order to apply for an F-1 student visa and to enter into the United States.

Step 2: Schedule advising appointment.

Please schedule an advising appointment with our international student advisor, Natasha French, within two weeks of acceptance to discuss the visa process and get any questions answered you have about being an international student at UWS. Book your appointment here.

Step 3: Learn more about immigration regulations.

Step 4: Finance your education with scholarships and grants.

UWS offers a $1,000 per term international DC student grant to all international students who maintain a 2.5 GPA in the Doctor of Chiropractic program. Check out other scholarships offered by UWS as well as outside organizations.

Step 5: Familiarize yourself with our international student resource page.

On our international student resource page you’ll learn about banking, insurance, making payments, employment, taxes, licensure and maintaining your F-1 status in the United States.
