Sport Psychology Performance (SPP) Graduate Certificate

University of Western States offers an applied sport psychology (ASP) graduate certificate for those interested in completing specialized graduate level coursework. The program is 100% online and can be completed in under a year.

Applied Sport Psychology (ASP)

The ASP certificate program is designed to help students complete courses that have been identified as meeting AASP’s Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC®) coursework requirements, enhance professional development in their current career, and/or explore their interest in the profession of sport and performance psychology.

Learning Outcomes

Graduates of the ASP program will be able to:

  • Evaluate the predominant theories and emergent trends within the discipline of sport and performance psychology.

Deadline Considerations:

  • Applicants with in-progress coursework will still be considered for admission and are asked to submit final transcripts upon course completion.
  • We understand that some applicants may be waiting on final grades from prerequisite coursework to submit final official transcripts after the final deposit deadline.
  • We require that students submit their entire application, supporting documentation and be successfully interviewed and deposited by the deposit deadline.
