Tim graduated from the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in 2005, at which time he began practicing functional medicine and Oriental medicine in an osteopathic sports medicine clinic. He later went on to start his own community clinic before eventually practicing in China and Bangkok for five years. While in Bangkok, Tim completed his Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine degree. He completed his doctorate in Chinese medicine in 2018. He currently serves as the sports nutritionist for The Institute for Human Kinetics working exclusively with elite professional athletes and Olympians. He serves as director of clinical research for Outplay Inc. His first original research paper was published in a peer reviewed journal in 2016.
