Lisa Lopez serves as the university’s chief business officer. Lopez transitioned to UWS from Alaska in 2010, bringing more than 15 years of accounting experience to the university. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Nevada, Reno and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
How do you engage with the UWS mission on a daily basis?
I interact with the UWS mission through oversight of the division of finance and administration including the offices of financial services, financial aid and risk management. These offices contribute to the financial stability of the institution through development of financial processes and access to resources that facilitate students and faculty engagement in excellent education and patient care.
