Dr. James D. Strange grew up in Longview, WA. After graduation from Mark Morris High School, he attended Lower Columbia College (L.C.C.) in pursuit of his Pre-Chiropractic Transfer Degree. After completion of his degree at L.C.C., Dr. Strange attended Washington State University-Vancouver where he majored in biology and minored in psychology. Dr. Strange was then accepted into the honors program at the University of Western States (formerly Western States Chiropractic College-W.S.C.C.) where he obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic Degree (2007). While at UWS, Dr. Strange spent many hours specializing in conditions such as: sports injuries, whiplash, trauma, family wellness care, disc herniations, headaches, arthritis, and many other common health related conditions. Upon completion of his doctorate degree, Dr. Strange moved back to Longview, WA where he began practicing until 2011 when he accepted a full-time faculty position as an attending physician at the UWS Campus Health Center. In November 2011, Dr. Strange went on to complete his post-graduate certification as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P.), and in 2014 completed his Master’s Degree in Sports and Exercise Science.
Dr. Strange currently resides in Camas, WA with his wife Jamie and son Brayden. When he is not treating patients or overseeing interns at UWS, Dr. Strange enjoys many hobbies such as: archery, cross-fit, hunting, hiking, and the occasional trip to the coast.
