Stori grew up in Ft. Worth, Texas where supportive parents and wonderful teachers nurtured her love for writing and storytelling. Stori went on to complete a degree in Professional Writing and Rhetoric with a minor in Journalism-Editing at Baylor University (Sic ‘Em, Bears!), and an M.A in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. After graduating, Stori moved to the beautiful PNW to work as a Youth Program Director in Portland, where she puts her love for fostering collaborative learning into practice with youth and young adults in her community. She has an entirely healthy and moderate affection for her cats, Robert Griffin III Jr. (Bobby for short) and Sharknado (Sharkie). She loves soccer, french fries, movies, Star Wars, and she is a proud Hufflepuff!
As the new writing tutor at UWS, she is excited to collaborate with you in your goals to become a better writer and empower you with the tools you need to become a better editor of your own work, no matter the class, paper or project!
