Miranda Holtmann has been supporting administration in higher education since 2014 and joined University of Western States in 2018 shortly after her move to Portland.
Miranda has called the Pacific Northwest home for most of her life, having grown up in the Seattle/Puget Sound area. Outside of Miranda’s two decades of experience as an admin her varied background also includes an upbringing in the theatre, experience in alternative journalism, and she was the creator/co-writer/producer of a live comedy panel show. Miranda holds a BA in creative writing from Seattle University and an MA in creative and life writing from Goldsmiths, University of London.
Miranda’s passions include writing, reading and exploring/travel. She also enjoys baking, taking long walks with her dog, and tending to her vegetable garden with her husband.
