Gily Meir, PhD, CMPC

Assistant Professor, Sport and Performance Psychology

Dr. Gily Meir is a certified mental performance consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and the research director for the sport psychology department at JFK School of Psychology at National University. Dr. Meir’s research focus on training and supervision of mental performance consultants. In addition, she conducted, presented and published research in other areas such as the connection between cognitions, emotions and performance. Dr. Meir is a former collegiate tennis player and served as a Lieutenant with the Israel Defense Forces. She has been consulting athletes and coaches of different levels, ages and sports for over 10 years.
