Monique Richard is an award-winning Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN, LDN) blending personalized nutrition with lifestyle medicine. She has a Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition and minor in Psychology, is an Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner (IFNCP) and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). Monique sees clients in her private practice, Nutrition-In-Sight, where she offers nutrition communication, counseling and consulting services using an integrative and functional medicine person-centered holistic approach. She has worked in outpatient primary care facilities serving a broad and diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics with a variety of conditions and nutritional needs as well as been an instructor for nutrition courses at two local universities.
Monique is an avid writer, leader, presenter, and educator bringing an international health perspective to her work from having participated in teaching, field work, and/or academic presentations in Haiti, Egypt, China, India, Italy, and Israel. She is the Past President of the International Affiliate of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (IAAND), previous Chair for the Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine dietetic practice group, a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (FAND) and past National Media Spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
