I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Texas and doctoral student studying sport and performance psychology. My goal is to work with athletes on the high school, collegiate, and professional levels to help them to reach their maximum performance levels.
I grew up in northern Virginia with my parents and brother. I have always loved sports. I participated in several sports as a youth, including softball, baseball, gymnastics, cheerleading, and basketball. In 2019, I earned a B.S. in Sport and Exercise Psychology from West Virginia University. In 2021, I earned an M.A. in Counselor Education, specializing in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am currently enrolled in the Sport and Performance Psychology doctoral program with the University of Western States. I have a special interest in the effects of concussions and brain injuries on sports performance.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two animals, trying new hobbies with friends, and binge watching HGTV shows! Aa a former athlete of 13 years, I am very excited that I have the privilege of working with the high-level athletes at the Deaflympics! I look forward to supporting these exceptional athletes as they represent the USA in their respective sporting events.
