I reside in Laredo, Texas which is a border town to Mexico, and I chose to pursue sport and performance psychology to apply my passion and knowledge to the growth of young athletes in my community and surrounding areas. I am a former collegiate athlete and hold an undergraduate degree in psychology from Texas A&M International University and a graduate degree in sports management from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
I’m excited to continue building my foundation to become a reputable Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) and pioneer the field of sport and performance psychology in my community, sharing the importance and benefits mental performance interventions can provide to future leaders and performers. It is a privilege to work with the USA Performance Psychology Team for the 2025 Deaflympics and to continue building my repertoire of skills to serve another population, adding ASL as my third language alongside Spanish and English. I am thrilled to encompass this journey with a great team, and becoming the first team to do so will be epic!
