Growing up, I immersed myself in various sports, including soccer, football, wrestling, track and field, archery, and horse riding. While some of these experiences were short-lived, they fueled my lifelong love for athletics. My high school throws coach, Scott Krall (may he rest in peace), unknowingly opened the door to my future career by introducing me to imagery, visualization, and relaxation techniques. I didn’t fully appreciate their impact then, but those lessons planted the seed for my passion for performance psychology.

As a college athlete at Kutztown University, I competed in Division II track and field while studying psychology and engaging deeply in the community. However, balancing athletics, academics, and extracurriculars was a challenge, and I often struggled to translate my practice performances into competition success. During my senior year, during Dr. Christine Lottes’ Sport Behavior class, I discovered the tools to navigate these challenges. Learning about routines, self-awareness, and mental strategies ignited my passion for performance psychology, leading me to pursue an M.A. in Sport & Performance Psychology from the University of Denver.

Now, as part of the Performance Psychology Team, I’m thrilled to blend my personal experiences and academic training to help others excel. From working with youth athletes on speed, agility, and strength to connecting performance’s mental and physical aspects, I’ve seen the transformative power of mindset firsthand. I’m excited to contribute to the team’s mission and support athletes in achieving their goals on and off the field.
