Dr. Sara Mathov is the vice president for operations and campus planning. Dr. Mathov completed her chiropractic education at Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2003, as well as a residency in diagnostic imaging at Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2006. She joined University of Western States in 2008 serving as a faculty member in both radiology and sports medicine, and as the director for the Exercise and Sport Science master’s program. In the fall of 2015, Dr. Mathov moved to the administration team, and completed a master’s degree in Management and Leadership. She provides oversight for UWS facilities, safety and security, and continuing education as well as space and facilities master planning. Having previous experience in construction project planning, she is able to combine her prior experience with UWS institutional knowledge.
How do you engage with the UWS mission on a daily basis?
I engage with the UWS mission through thoughtful planning for the university and ensuring that the campus is safe with sustainable and service-oriented operations. This helps provide a base for the educational and clinical needs of the students and employees at UWS.
