On-Campus Clinical Training
The Connected Whole Health Clinic at UWS provides top-notch patient care for Portland residents and an enriching hands-on learning experience for students. A critical bridge between the classroom and advanced training, our teaching clinic provides chiropractic, naturopathic medicine, and sports medicine students with early, authentic patient care experiences to prepare them for more individualized and specialized clinical placements to come.
Students are challenged to think both critically and clinically as they formulate diagnoses and develop evidence-based management plans. They will assume progressively greater responsibility for patient care under the close supervision and guidance of licensed professionals, utilizing methods and techniques introduced in the pre-clinical curriculum.
Through this structured, hands-on approach, Connected Whole Health Clinic fosters clinical confidence, clinical reasoning, and professional readiness, ensuring students are well prepared to transition from foundational learning to independent, patient-centered clinical practice.
Believing quality care should be accessible to all, the Connected Whole Health Clinic offers most services at little to no cost.
