board-certified specialists, and hospital-based clinicians.
Dr. Detling has also coached 16 world, two national, and 14 state championship teams, six Pac-12 championship teams, and has worked with individual athletes in the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, PGA, MLS, MLR, and in professional rock climbing and cycling.
Dr. Minich was part of the research team led by the “father of functional medicine,” Jeffrey Bland, Ph.D., and has served on the Nutrition Advisory Board for the Institute of Functional Medicine and the Board of Directors for the American Nutrition Association. She was awarded the Linus and Ava Helen Pauling Award in Functional Medicine in 2025.
