Program & Concentration: Doctor of Chiropractic

Kimberly Williamson is currently a doctor of chiropractic student at UWS. She grew up on a farm in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Kimberly began her post-secondary education by getting her Diploma in Medical Radiologic Technology at Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton, AB. Through her studies and work in the medical field as an x-ray technologist, Kimberly fully solidified her love for science and medicine and continued her studies at King’s University for a BSc in Biology. From there, she moved to Portland and began her UWS journey. Outside of class, Kimberly enjoys hiking, painting and seeing the sites of Portland!

Why I chose UWS: From the beginning, UWS seemed so friendly and welcoming through their attentive staff and professors who were always available to answer any prospective questions I had. Beyond this, the focus of evidence-based research in the chiropractic field is so important to me – and UWS creates a great balance of incorporating science and care in the medicine they teach to future chiropractors!
