Jennifer Babich holds a bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine and is a distinguished graduate of the University of Western States, where she earned her Master's in Human Nutrition & Functional Medicine. Shortly after graduating, she returned to UWS as a course facilitator, and currently serves as a faculty member in the Nutrition Science Department at Purdue University Global, where she teaches Nutrition Counseling--a course she had the pleasure of building and designing for the University.
With a deep-rooted passion for gut health--particularly the gut-brain axis--Jennifer combines clinical insight with academic rigor. She is in the process of publishing a comprehensive review on the role of polyphenol-rich diets in managing depressive disorders. In her private practice, she leads transformative 10-week gut repair programs rooted in functional medicine principles, helping individuals restore both mental clarity and physical vitality.
In 2016, Jennifer authored her first book, a 555-page exploration of foundational nutrition science titled "How to Use Your Pie-Hole," written to be both informative and entertaining. She is currently working on her second book, which focuses on the power of the microbiome.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Jennifer is most at home on a hiking trail with her family and dog in tow. She finds balance in the simple joys of nature, experimenting with wholesome recipes, and savoring a cold kombucha alongside some fresh mango (picked straight from the tree). Whether exploring the outdoors or enjoying quiet moments at home, Jennifer values the connection between a nourished body, a grounded mind, and a life well-lived.
