Integrating theory and current research, our Sport and Performance Psychology (SPP) graduate degree programs train students in motivation, performance enhancement, and the ability to maximize human potential.

Graduates from the Ed.D. SPP: Clinical Mental Health Counseling Specialization program may earn a Rehabilitation Counseling Graduate Certificate upon completion of their degrees.

Sport and Performance Psychology Consulting Concentration
The Ed.D. SPP: Sport and Performance Psychology Consulting Concentration is ideal for students wishing to pursue a career as a Certified Mental Performance Consultant®. The curriculum allows students to complete mentorship hours in partial fulfillment of the requirements to obtain Certified Mental Performance Consultant® certification through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP).

Rehabilitation Counseling Concentration
Licensed professional counselors can learn to help individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions achieve independence, inclusion, and meaningful participation in all areas of life by enrolling in the Rehabilitation Counseling Concentration.

This rigorous 30-credit certificate program fulfills the initial academic requirements for the Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC) exam administered by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification. Students must apply for the CRC certification independent of this program.
