Taught on our beautiful Portland campus, UWS chiropractic students learn from experienced faculty working in the health care field and gain real-world knowledge to treat patients more effectively with a relationship-centric approach.

Whole-Person Health Care
Sound education in foundational and applied sciences, complemented by evidence-informed research and collaboration within the health care community, to guide students toward mastering the intricacies of treating the whole human being.
Integrative Education
Our program emphasizes working with a variety of professionals within the health care system in honor of our motto, “for the good of the patient.” Students are educated in diagnosis, physiological therapeutics, rehabilitation, nutrition and lifestyle management, and more.
Hands-On Clinical Training
Chiropractic students at UWS participate in clinic observation and hands-on training with expert clinical mentors from day one of the program, along with field practice opportunities with diverse populations in a variety of settings.

As the second-oldest chiropractic school in the world, our Doctor of Chiropractic program is a rigorous, 12-quarter doctoral program that has an innovative and evidence-informed approach to whole-person care.
