Beth Dominicis, DC

Adjunct Professor, Chiropractic Sciences

Dr. Dominicis graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences, Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1994 after teaching in public school (graduate degree in education) and working in the radio and film industries (bachelor’s in film). Her experience with chiropractic began in high school where she worked as a front and back-office chiropractic assistant.

From 1994 – 2015 Dr. D practiced in southern California. Her private practice specialized in diversified chiropractic, nutrition and exercise. She also worked in a multidisciplinary setting alongside orthopedists and neurologists. Dr. D’s chiropractic education includes completing the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) diplomat and the Carrick Institute of Clinical Neuroscience/Chiropractic Neurologist diplomate.

Over the years, Dr. D. has worked with high school and college athletes, professional athletes and Olympic athletes. She equally likes the niche of family practice and the thrill of being the sideline chiropractic physician at athletic events. She began teaching diversified chiropractic technique at SCUHS in 2005 after a spinal injury and found it extremely rewarding. While in California she also taught continuing education in technique and is authorized by Dr. James Cox to teach the Cox Flexion-Distraction Technic and by Dr. Arlan Fuhr to teach Activator Method Chiropractic Technique- Basic. She moved to the Pacific Northwest at the end of 2015 to teach at UWS.

Outside of her chiropractic career Dr. D is an accomplished equestrian, flies Cessnas (when possible) and scuba dives; but her two joies de la vie are art (especially blowing glass, painting, sculpting) and canine rescue volunteer.
