Aparna Natarajan has a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering from India and a master’s in human nutrition and functional medicine from UWS. After working in the software industry for over a decade, Aparna switched careers to nutrition counseling and has a private practice in Denver, Colorado. She has been a subject matter expert, providing literature reviews for the American Nutrition Association (ANA) and the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).

Aparna combines the principles of Ayurveda with those of functional medicine to create personalized wellness plans. As an Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) coach, she helps people create a positive relationship with food and body image and overall mind-body wellness.

When not poring over research, Aparna enjoys listening to classical Indian music, gardening and hiking in the Rockies. She also dabbles in the stock market and likes taking mental breaks by solving math puzzles. She volunteers for the Boys Scouts of America and is a Wellness Coordinator at the local high school.
